Daily writing prompt
List five things you do for fun.

My learnings is that I have to incorporate activities into my life otherwise I become a very dull girl indeed. A dull girl that slides into sadness, depression etc. It is crucial for me to keep a balance and to have things to look forward to.

TRAVEL- One of my joys is to travel. I love seeing new places, new cultures and meeting people. My goal is to do more adventures as much as possible before I become not so mobile. Ideas at the moment are: Svalbard, Japan, SW America, New York, NE America (New England), Italy, Greece, Canada, Sweden, Ireland, India. Places to see: Herculaneum, St Petersburg, Taj Mahal, Yellowstone Park, The Outback, maybe Great Wall of China, and Easter Island. We do enjoy seeing the odd steam train too. I am a long time contributor to Google Maps.

MUSIC – I love to sing. I prefer more classical but will sing anything. Used to do karaokes a lot. My friends did musicals and we would relax doing a karaoke. I can remember the guys singing and making whip sounds to the song ‘Rawhide’ in a local pub.

PHOTOGRAPHY – I have always had a camera to record family, outings and school life (I recommend taking photos during your school years as it is great to look back when you are middle aged!). My husband and I share a love of photography. We both have Canon cameras and have done all sorts of photo shoots and even a photo tour in Iceland. These days I tend to use my smartphone mostly for shots.

MOST THINGS CREATIVE: I do art occasionally, gardening, writing class, and video. Creativity – my soul needs it and craves it, always.

it is indeed important to incorporate acitvities that ones loves to do in life, otherwise things do start becoming quite dull and depressing. I completely understand the emotion.
