At the time of the Pandemic, many of us in the UK, had to stay in our homes. I was working at the time and spoke to many people who had disabilities. I remember one lady who had been in her flat for a very long time, unable to get out. Many people felt trapped in their flats. As I look around my town, there are flats being built everywhere, on any empty space. Its very lucrative per square metre. But not so many parks.
I wish the government/local government would force builders nationally to design gardens into plans for any new flats going forward. Gardens in front or behind or even on the roof. So there is always some green space to go to.
